Job summary

Park Avenue Group, a division of Angott Search Group, partners with a global bank in Florida to recruit a Collector & Foreclosure Specialist who will manage delinquent loans and support foreclosure through collaboration with borrowers, attorneys, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance (FDCPA, BSA/AML) and accurate documentation, with a focus on minimizing risk while upholding fair borrower treatment.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure, or banking preferred.
• Knowledge of lending, collections, and foreclosure regulations.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive borrower interactions professionally.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Commitment to treating all borrowers fairly and appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Contact borrowers regarding delinquent and past-due loans.
• Manage severely delinquent loans through the foreclosure process.
• Track foreclosure activity and sales and provide management reporting.
• Serve as the liaison between borrowers, the Bank, and legal counsel.
• Prepare demand letters and coordinate with internal and external attorneys.
• Review and submit legal invoices and attorney fees.
• Document collection activity and maintain accurate account records.
• Resolve delinquent accounts while minimizing risk to the Bank.
• Maintain compliance with FDCPA, BSA/AML, and applicable banking regulations.
