Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a finance professional to analyze complex historical and current financial data, forecast revenues and expenditures for large programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include bottom-up forecasts, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and preparing reports for reviews. Strong Excel, PowerPoint, accrual accounting and US GAAP knowledge are required. Prior government contracting finance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
• 2-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual bottoms-up cost and revenue forecasts at a project and organizational level.
• Maintains rolling forecasts and quarterly outlook for large programs (over $3 Million in revenue).
• Determines cost of large project and program operations by establishing standard costs and collecting data.
• Analyzes program results versus plans and forecasts.
• Prepares reports for monthly and quarterly reviews.
• Prepares subcontractor accruals and initiates accrual reconciliation.
• Works with project managers and finance to identify and correct program finance issues.
• Analyzes accounting and labor data that drives forecasting and reporting.
