Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Planning & Fulfillment Leader to own the end-to-end forecast and operational planning process at our North Mississippi site. You will align demand, production capacity, and supply chain execution to ensure on-time delivery, optimized inventory, and revenue realization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business required.
  • 5+ years in demand forecasting, production planning, or supply chain management.
  • 3+ years managing planning teams in manufacturing.
  • Proven track record leading or co-leading S&OP/SIOP processes.
  • Strong SAP proficiency with advanced Excel; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end forecast and operational planning process.
  • Drive alignment between demand signals, capacity, and supply chain execution.
  • Maintain inventory targets and optimize plan to ensure service levels.
  • Develop and monitor planning KPIs: forecast accuracy, OTIF, turns, adherence.
  • Lead and develop a team of planners with a data-driven mindset.

You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization.The work model for the role is: OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business in the Smart Power Division located in North Mississippi/Memphis area.You will be mainly accountable for:Maintaining the right inventory levels, optimizing them according to the company’s targets while ensuring high customer service level.Performing standard and ad hoc detailed analyses of planning and fulfillment metrics, including Days Inventory on Hand (DIH), on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization.Identifying key root causes for non-performance and drives improvement initiatives across businesses.Develop and maintain demand forecasts using statistical models, market intelligence, and customer dataMonitor and manage inventory levels (raw material, WIP, finished goods) to balance service levels and working capital targetsDefine, track, and report on planning KPIs: forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory turns, schedule adherenceLead and develop a team of planners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision makingResponsible for partnering with Finance on E&O provision management and mitigation processesQualifications for the roleBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
