Description of the role:

The Ford Vehicle Service Technician at Jack Schmitt Ford is responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on Ford vehicles. This role requires a Specialist Level or greater expertise in diagnosing and fixing vehicle issues, ensuring that all repairs are done efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Performing regular maintenance tasks on Ford vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in Ford vehicles
• Conducting diagnostic tests to identify vehicle malfunctions
• Using computerized equipment to analyze vehicle performance data
• Updating service records and creating detailed repair reports
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

• Specialist Level or greater expertise in diagnosing and repairing Ford vehicles
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Valid driver's license
• ASE certifications are a plus
