Qualifications

• 5+ years Ford Service Technician experience preferred.
• Ford-specific diagnostic testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work with efficiency following dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify operation of systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services needed.
• Utilize escalation process during difficult repairs.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and following dealership policies and procedures
• Test-drive vehicles, verifying work and proper operation of systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
• Utilize Internal Escalation Process during difficult repairs
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Grow your Skills while being Part of a Productive and Professional Shop
