Job summary

Ford Short Pump is seeking skilled automotive repair technicians to join a growing team in Short Pump, VA. The role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, with emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work in a family-owned environment with strong growth opportunities, retirement benefits, and ongoing training program. Candidates should have Ford-specific diagnostic experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years Ford service technician experience preferred.
• Ford-specific diagnostic testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work as specified on the repair order with efficiency and adherence to dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles, verify work and proper operation of systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and following dealership policies and procedures
• Test-drive vehicles, verifying work and proper operation of systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
• Utilize Internal Escalation Process during difficult repairs
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Grow your Skills while being Part of a Productive and Professional Shop

Qualifications
