Ford Pro is seeking Software Engineers who embrace Agile-eXtreme Programming principles to develop innovative software products for Ford and our commercial clients.

Qualifications

You'll have...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development
• 3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, C#, and experience with modern databases (relational and non-relational)
• 1+ years of experience deploying to cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
• Experience developing web UI using React.js, JavaScript, Angular, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with debugging tools
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Terraform
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks

Preferred qualifications include...

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles
• Experience with eXtreme Programming practices including Pair/Mob programming and TDD
• Experience with Spring/SpringBoot and RESTful Web services
• Knowledge of machine learning, data analysis, SQL, and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Agile tools like Jira
• Previous React.js development experience, including knowledge of related tools and UI/UX design
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks like Mocha and Jest
• Passion for learning and working in pair programming environments

This position has a salary range of grades 6-8. Visa sponsorship is not available. Southeast MI residents should note the position is remote unless they live within 50 miles of Dearborn, MI, in which case on-site work 1-2 days a week is preferred.
