Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Effectively communicate regarding customer parts status.
• Read and understand the parts catalog for accurate lookup and discussion of specific parts.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and other information to customers.
• Review body shop estimates to verify correct parts and pricing.
• Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
• Manage warehouse tasks, including pulling/filling orders and weekly stock checks.
• Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items or urgent shop material needs.
• Source out-of-stock parts externally and submit emergency orders if needed.
• Ensure all internal parts requests are billed on service repair orders.
• Handle payment collection from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Pick up and deliver parts as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; prior Ford auto parts sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems is a plus.
• Desire to grow and improve in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a background check.
