Job summary

HERTRICH Family of Automobile Dealerships is hiring an experienced Ford Automotive Diesel Technician to join our busy service department in Wisconsin. The successful candidate will diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and emissions, using advanced diagnostic tools and maintaining service quality.

We offer a stable, family-owned shop with a 5-day work week (Sundays off), competitive pay with bonus potential, ongoing training, and a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Automotive diesel repair experience required.
• Ford ASE certifications strongly preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Full set of tools required.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and emissions.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and testing on major components.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete accurate repair orders and communicate with Service Advisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technologies.
