Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking an Experienced Ford Automotive Diesel Technician to join our busy, family-owned operation in Milford, DE. This full-time role offers a 5-day work week with Sundays off, competitive pay plans, and opportunities for certification bonuses.

The successful candidate will diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems, stay current with evolving technologies, and communicate effectively with Service Advisors while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Diesel and automotive systems diagnosis and repair.
• Ford ASE certifications strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems (engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, emissions).
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and testing, and complete accurate repair orders.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and maintain a clean, safe work area.
