Hertrich Family of Dealerships is expanding with a brand-new, state-of-the-art Truck Shop at Frederick Ford in Seaford. We seek an Experienced Automotive Diesel Service Technician to diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems, with strong pay and career growth opportunities in a family-owned company.

The role offers modern equipment, ongoing training, competitive flat-rate pay, and year-round work in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Automotive and/or diesel repair experience.
• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Full set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and emissions.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and testing on major components.
• Complete accurate repair orders and communicate with Service Advisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technologies.
