Malloy Ford of Charlottesville is seeking a Ford Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. You will perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Ford vehicles, service engines and drivetrains, and complete warranty work to Ford and dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Ford certification preferred.
• Must have diagnostic and electrical/engine repair skills.
• Experience at a Ford dealership required.
• Must provide own tools suitable for advanced repair work.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Ford vehicles
• Service engines, transmissions, drivetrains, suspension, and electrical systems
• Complete warranty repairs according to Ford and dealership standards
• Use Ford diagnostic equipment and software to verify and resolve concerns
• Road test vehicles to confirm proper operation after repairs
• Accurately document all diagnostic findings and completed repairs
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines
• Mentor and support developing technicians as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Stay current with Ford technical bulletins, recalls, and training requirements
