Job summary

nou Systems, Inc., an ESOP company in the NCR area, seeks a Subject Matter Expert I – Force Operations to join the Engineering Services Division. The role supports RETS IDIQ contract tasks, leading strategic planning, research, wargaming, and executive communications for DoD programs.

The candidate will collaborate with senior DoD leadership and cross-functional teams, supervising projects and delivering analyses-driven recommendations to influence policy and operations in defense markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• At least 8 years of relevant supervisory/leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of DoD experience.
• 8 years of strategic planning, research and wargaming experience.
• 8+ years supporting high-interest project leadership and executive communication.
• U.S. citizen with TS clearance w/ SCI and SAP eligibility (active preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic planning development, implementation & management aligned to leadership priorities.
• Conduct research, wargaming and analysis for policy recommendations.
• Identify, prioritize and lead high-interest cross-functional projects.
• Serve as supervisor, team or project leader.
• Support senior leadership advisory & executive communication.
• Provide technical support to RETS IDIQ tasks and coordinate with PMs.
• Review data and documentation to provide analyses and recommendations.
