We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Footwear Salesperson to join our team in the Missoula store, and help our customers find the perfect pair of shoes while contributing to a positive shopping experience. As a Footwear Salesperson, you will be the face of our brand, interacting with customers and assisting them in selecting the best footwear to meet their needs. Your role will involve understanding customer preferences, managing inventory, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience. We work with the best brands in the industry including Brooks, Chaco, Hoka, and many more. In addition to working with the top brands, you'll have access to special employee-only discounts and exclusive vendor deals!

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
2. Achieve sales goals by actively engaging with customers, promoting new products, and upselling complementary items.
3. Maintain a strong understanding of our footwear offerings, including features, benefits, and trends.
4. Provide accurate pricing and sale information.
5. Help manage stock levels, restock shelves, and ensure the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
7. Process merchandise.
8. Maintain the organization and merchandise displays in your department.
9. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Required

1. Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in footwear or fashion.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
3. Basic knowledge of footwear types, materials, and fashion trends.
4. Comfortable approaching customers and initiating conversation.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Well-developed organizational skills.
7. Able to effectively work with a team.
8. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the sales floor.
9. Provide quick and accurate information regarding products and sales/prices.
10. Work with a sense of urgency, full of energy, and a positive attitude.
