Designer Brands is seeking a skilled Footwear Designer to translate brand direction into innovative products across Vince Camuto and related brands. You will collaborate with global teams to shape concepts, materials, and finishes for seasonal lines.

The role emphasizes CAD, tech packs, and market-driven design, with opportunities to mentor junior designers and travel for trade shows and sourcing as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to use market research, trend forecasting and industry insights to contribute to design strategy.

Responsibilities

• Translate seasonal brand direction and trend insights into innovative footwear concepts.
• Develop illustrations, technical drawings, CADs, and renderings.
• Create and maintain design specs, tech packs, and development documentation.
• Manage multiple design projects from concept to final product.
• Collaborate with overseas development partners and cross-functional teams.
• Present design concepts and seasonal developments with clarity.
