Job summary

VF Corporation seeks a footwear product development professional to collaborate across Asia and internal teams, ensuring samples meet commercialization requirements. You will coordinate with brand, vendor, engineering and production to align pattern, fit, materials, and testing for successful product launches.

You will drive extreme fit trials, manage timelines, and coordinate with mold tooling and costing to validate patterns and yield.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related professional experience in manufacturing or technical environments.
• Degree holder in Textiles or Apparel/Footwear related fields.
• Subject Expert In: footwear, LEAN manufacturing, Automation, patterns, laboratorystandardsand testing / materials.
• Able to break down complex engineering situations and communicate clearly in writing or email.

Responsibilities

• Represent commercialization in early PD cycle product review meetings and ensure viability of development samples to commercialization requirements.
• Partner with brand and vendor development, engineering, and production teams to ensure accuracy in pattern, fit, materials and assembly technics and that lab testing is conducted properly.
• Lead / track extreme fit trial schedules and report progress to cross functional stakeholders.
• Track and coordinate downstream streams to meet BR and T4 readiness timelines.
• Coordinate with VF’s mold tooling team to align tooling with BR and production timeframes.
• Work with costing to validate sample and production patterns against yield/utilization.
