Job summary

Highland Community College in Highland, KS is seeking a part-time position to assist in coordinating the HCC Football team. The individual will perform duties assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrate the ability to follow policies and teach fundamentals to the team. Responsibilities include attending practices and contests, and assisting with driving tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver license with no major infractions in the past five years.
• Related experience and/or training desired.
• Computer experiences desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of the HCC Football team.

• Follow college and conference policies.
• Teach sportsmanship and good behavior.
• Assist the Head Coach with responsibilities.

Summary

This position assists in the coordination of the HCC Football team by performing all duties assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director to the best of their ability and in a professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Attend and take part in the in-service training provided by the Head Coach.
• Be familiar with and follow the policies of Highland Community College, the NJCAA, and the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.
• Attend all practices and home and away contests in the Football Program.
• Teach sportsmanship and set an example of good moral and physical behavior.
• Teach fundamentals, techniques, etc., as directed by the Head Coach.
• Assume responsibility of assisting the head coach, under his/her supervision, in performing assigned responsibilities.
• Assist the Head Coach with driving responsibilities as assigned.
• Be loyal to the Head Coach and his/her program.

Education and/or Experience
