Highland Community College in Highland, KS is seeking a part-time baseball program coordinator to assist the Head Coach and Athletic Director for the 10-month period (August–May). The role includes supporting practices, recruiting, travel, and promoting sportsmanship, with salary including room and board and meals provided when the cafeteria serves.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, has a valid driver's license, and can read, write, and communicate effectively with diverse groups.

This position assists in the coordination of the HCC Baseball team by performing all duties assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director to the best of their ability and in a professional manner. This is a part-time 10 month (August - May) position. Salary includes room and board. Meals are provided when the college cafeteria is serving.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Related experience and/or training desired. Computer experience desired. Film editing experience preferred.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record with no major infractions in the past five years.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of students, community members, and employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
