Upperline Health in Carmel, IN is seeking a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in a clinic setting. The role includes evaluating patients, ordering imaging, and developing individualized plans of care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Candidates should hold a DPM with licensure, DEA registration, and CPR; strong communication and compassionate patient care are essential as the organization expands across multiple locations and offers

Qualifications

• DPM degree with appropriate certification and licensure.
• Active DPM license preferred or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• DEA registration or eligibility required.
• CPR certification expected, and consistent with the state Board requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care in a clinic setting; hospital staff membership may be expected.
• Assess patients with lower extremity complaints, review history, perform exams, order imaging/labs, and develop a care plan.
• Deliver comprehensive foot/ankle care including at‑risk foot care, trauma, wound care, and surgical management when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families about foot care, wellness, medications, adherence and prevention.
• Maintain patient records per state regulations and Upperline Health standards and policy.
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Prescribe medications as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Other related duties as deemed necessary.
