Job summary

Upperline Health in London, Kentucky, seeks a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in a clinic setting. You will evaluate patients, order diagnostics, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure is required.
• DPM license - active license or ability to obtain within applicable timeframe is required.
• CPR certification expected, and consistent with state Board of Podiatric Medicine requirements.
• Possession of DEA registration or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Assess lower extremity complaints, review medical history, perform exam, order imaging/labs, and develop a care plan.
• Provide comprehensive foot/ankle care including at-risk foot care, trauma, wound care and surgical management when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families about foot care, wellness, adherence and prevention.
• Maintain patient medical records per state regulations and Upperline Health standards.
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Prescribe medications as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
