Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine to provide foot and ankle care in a clinic based in East Cobb, GA. The DPM will work within a collaborative team of podiatrists, physicians, APPs, and care navigators to deliver integrated care.

Qualifications

• Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure is required.
• DPM license active or eligibility to obtain within timeframe.
• DEA registration or eligibility required.
• CPR certification as required by state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Excellent oral and written communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess lower extremity complaints, review history, perform exams, order imaging and labs, and develop care plans.
• Provide comprehensive podiatric care including at-risk foot care, trauma, wounds and surgery when needed.
• Educate patients and families about foot care, wellness, medications, adherence and prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical records compliant with state regulations and policy.
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Prescribe medications as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Other related duties as deemed necessary.
