Job summary

Regional Health System’s Orthopedic Group in Georgia seeks a full-time foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon to join four board-certified physicians. The position offers teaching opportunities with medical students and residents and requires participation in call and OR scheduling.

Qualifications

• Completion of orthopedic residency with fellowship in foot/ankle.

Responsibilities

• Precept medical students and residents in clinical settings.
• Provide foot and ankle orthopedic care with OR block scheduling.
• Participate in call schedule and hospital-based activities.

Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery Physician

Our Regional Health System’s Orthopedic Group is currently seeking a full-time Orthopedic surgeon who specializes in feet and ankles to join an established practice with three other board-certified orthopedic physicians, including additional support from mid-levels.

• Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus an annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment as a W-2 employee
• Bonus: Bonus of 100% shared practice profits
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; with OR block scheduling
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
• Call: Call required 7 days/month, including general ortho; extra pay for extra call
• Facility Details: Our Orthopedic Clinic is located within walking distance of the hospital campus; 24/7 access to the physicians’ lounge with meals provided; 24-hour all-access employee fitness center; a state-of-the-art Medical Education Center with simulation labs, a conference center, and much more.

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of orthopedic residency and a foot and ankle fellowship
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
