Job summary

United Service Technologies - A Tech24 Company in Houston, TX, is hiring for a Foodservice PM (Hot-Side) Technician Apprentice. The role supports senior technicians in preventative maintenance and basic service on commercial foodservice equipment.

You will learn diagnostics, perform routine PM tasks, and grow toward greater responsibilities. The position offers weekly pay, company-provided vehicle, uniforms, phone, and a strong benefits package, with opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills required.
• Mechanical understanding of equipment and systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation as skills progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with preventative maintenance on foodservice equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Perform routine PM tasks such as testing gas pressure, calibrating temperatures, cleaning equipment, inspecting electrical connections.
• Identify and report signs of wear or failure to senior technicians.
• Document service calls, parts used, and labor hours in the company system.
