United Service Technologies – A Tech24 Company in Ukiah, CA is seeking a Foodservice PM (Hot-Side) Technician to support senior technicians with preventative maintenance and basic service on commercial equipment. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals eager to grow within the skilled trades and learn diagnostic procedures under experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related mechanical, HVAC, appliance repair, automotive, or foodservice equipment experience preferred.
• Trade school or technical school training strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems; strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with preventative maintenance on foodservice equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.).
• Perform routine PM tasks such as testing gas pressure, calibrating temperatures, cleaning equipment, inspecting electrical connections.
• Identify and report early signs of wear or failure to senior technicians.
• Support basic troubleshooting and minor repairs under supervision.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Maintain organized truck inventory and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Deliver professional and courteous customer service while onsite.
