Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside Sales professional in the Saint Joseph, MO area to promote the company’s products and services and build strong relationships with new and existing accounts. This role may require occasional non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

You will develop new business, penetrate accounts, and manage a sales territory with focus on profitable growth. The position offers a base salary with bonus opportunities, car allowance, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in B2B or outside sales preferred.
• Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and follow account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor products/services accordingly.
• Present market trends and product recommendations to customers.
• Drive personal vehicle to accounts and events as required.
• Provide product training and resolve questions on prices and availability.
• Handle invoicing, credits, and collections when needed.
• Support deliveries and coordinate with transportation on routing.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline

HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management or outside sales experience
