Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to promote products and services, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and help customers succeed while meeting sales and profit goals.

The role may require non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customer needs and drive growth. Training and career development are emphasized within a purpose-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, OR HS/GED with 3 years restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Bi-Lingual and Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with driving record meeting company insurability standards; valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth within the assigned territory.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor products and services.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel; handle orders and deliveries.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and attend meetings as required.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
• Support with accounts receivable and adherence to credit terms.
