Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to cover Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, O'Fallon, St. Peters in MO. You will promote Sysco products, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and help customers succeed while meeting sales goals.

This role may require non-traditional hours. You will drive a personal vehicle, manage scheduling, and participate in training. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with 3 years in restaurant or B2B sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline or HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Experience in sales or restaurant management is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and maximize sales growth within territory.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product offerings.
• Provide product information and training to customers and staff.
• Drive personal vehicle to accounts and attend meetings and events.
• Manage scheduling, budgets, quotes, and reporting.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline
