Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Holliston, MA is seeking an Installer responsible for the installation of foodservice equipment per project specs, safely and timely. You’ll handle delivery, uncrating and set in place, collaborating with plumbers, electricians and other trades.

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, travel for overnight stays, and read blueprints. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and experience or schooling in general construction and use of hand/power tools.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, multitasking, and independent work skills.
• Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurability to travel for overnight stays.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complete delivery, uncrating, and setting in place of foodservice equipment.
• Collaborate with plumbers/electricians and all mechanical trades to resolve issues and stay within the timeframe.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and install equipment using hand or power tools.
• Examine and test equipment for defects to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area and organized tools.
