Job summary

Edward Don & Company is seeking an Installer to install foodservice equipment in line with project specs, delivering, uncrating, and placing equipment on site. You will coordinate with plumbers, electricians, and other trades to resolve issues and meet the install bid timelines.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, construction/tool experience, proficiency with Excel and Word, and a valid driver's license with ability to travel overnight.

• Examine and test equipment for defects to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow all safety guidelines, maintaining a clean work area and machines/tools organized.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Job description

$23.61+ depending on experience

Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm (baseline schedule, can vary slightly) MUST be willing to travel on occasion (Max 1 week travel at a time) per month

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent and experience or schooling on general construction and the use of hand and power tools as well as the ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints. intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel & Word), strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently. Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills. Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and driving record that meets company insurability standards. Must be able to travel for overnight stays. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred:

Successful completion of an accredited Technical/Trade School and forklift certification.
