Job summary

CTL Colfax is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine tests on food, dairy, water and wastewater samples under supervision. You will prepare customer reports and maintain records to help sustain licensure and the company image.

You will receive samples, prepare them for testing, set up and operate lab equipment, record results, and assist with quality‑control measures within the quality management system.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; no experience required, but preferred.
• High degree of accuracy, basic math, time management, organizational skills.
• Ability to follow procedures accurately and operate laboratory equipment.
• Able to work independently and build positive relationships with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples for analysis and label containers with identifying data.
• Prepare samples for testing and set up reagents and equipment.
• Set up, adjusts, and operates laboratory equipment for tests.
• Record and analyze test results and maintain logs.
• Clean and maintain the laboratory area and glassware.
• Support quality assurance processes and comply with quality system.
