Job summary

NRDC's Nature Department seeks a graduate intern to support ongoing projects for the Food & Agriculture Division. The intern will report to the Advocacy Associate and can be based in San Francisco, Washington, DC, or New York office.

Interns are expected to be onsite 3 days per week. This internship offers hands-on experience in environmental advocacy, research, and food waste diversion, with duties such as data collection, policy analysis, and coordination on statewide projects.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing projects in NRDC's Food & Agriculture Division.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and policy research.
• Draft materials for campaigns and coordinate with legal, science, and advocacy teams.
