Air Mobility Command at McGuire AFB, New Jersey, seeks a Food Service Worker (MVO) to operate a vehicle and deliver meals across the base. You will take orders by phone, describe menu options, assemble orders for delivery, and ensure items are prepared and delivered hot or cold as required.

You will perform basic vehicle maintenance, assist in food preparation, clean work areas, handle payments, and maintain cash reports at shift end. Regular position, 20–40 hours per week.

Competenze

• This position does not allow education substitution.
• FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements; you must show evidence that the education credentials are equivalent to U.S. education.

Mansioni

• Operates a motor vehicle to transport and deliver food and beverages throughout Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
• Accepts patrons' orders over the telephone and describes menu items to customers, explaining product combinations and options.
• Submits orders to cooks for preparation and assembles orders for transport; maintains vehicle; performs basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
• Assists food service staff in preparing simple items for delivery; cleans and sanitizes work areas; handles serving and cash receipts.
• Receives payment, gives change, and completes cash reports at end of shift; performs related duties as assigned.
