Community Action Partnership Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties Head Start is seeking a dedicated Laborer/Food Service helper to transport meals to satellite centers and assist the cook with daily food service operations, including dishwashing. The role is 35 hours per week, year-round, with opportunities to contribute to nutrition and safety standards.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to menus, and proper handling of food and supplies, within a supportive Head Start environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of food service experience required.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety certification preferred.

About This Role

Community Action Partnership Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties Head Start has an immediate opportunity for one individual to join our dynamic Nutrition Services team. We are looking for an individual who would be responsible for transporting food to satellite center(s) and assisting the cook in the daily operations of the food service activities as needed, including dishwashing.

This position is 35 hours per week/52 weeks per year.

What You'll Do

• Transport food to satellite center(s) and assist with kitchen clean-up and food preparation for their assigned center(s).
• Relate professionally and tactfully with all program participants and coworkers and maintain positive interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work as part of a team
• Adheres to menus and special dietary requirements that have been approved by the Nutrition Services Specialist and Registered Dietician.
• Assists in the storage of deliveries of food and related kitchen supplies.
• Responsible to follow food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain kitchen cleanliness in accordance with state and local health regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Six months food service experience

Nice To Haves
