Your key responsibilities

• Manage/coordinate flavor applications and associated technical support of diverse project initiatives across the beverage category.
• Proven ability to design and execute against complex initiatives. Develop beverage application bases and create new beverage concepts to highlight dsm-firmenich flavors, ingredients, technologies, and innovations.
• Actively participate on technical selling team to develop strategic relationships and customer intimacy. Mentor junior professionals.
• Project management: Manage briefs and champion required actions to meet project objectives, lead work sessions with clients and deliver presentations in a technical capacity to clients as needed.
• Leverage technical knowledge in terms of flavors, ingredients, formulations, and processes relating to beverages, while establishing and maintaining a network of working relationships within the technical community.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage client’s strategies, brands, and products. Stays informed on relevant trends/new ingredients & technologies.

You bring

• 5+ years’ experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Science/Science Technology or 3+ years with Master's Degree industry/flavor experience working in the beverage category.
• Proven formulation and troubleshooting expertise in beverages.
• Proficient in project management, organization, and time management.
• Demonstrated technical track record in flavor application.
• Familiarity running pilot plant equipment with scale up processes in mind.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional communication and customer-facing presentations.
