About the Role

Vanns Spices is seeking a Food Technician to join our R&D team and support the creation of innovative seasoning blends for customers across the food industry. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about flavor development.

You’ll work closely with teams across Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to bring new products from concept to commercialization—developing samples, conducting tastings, and managing technical documentation along the way.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and prepare seasoning blend samples based on formulas or custom specifications

• Conduct product tastings and develop recipes for sales and marketing use

• Package and ship samples to brand partners

• Maintain accurate records and enter product data using standardized templates

• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth project execution

• Communicate with external partners on formula status and sample feedback

• Submit documentation for regulatory, certification, and compliance purposes

• Maintain lab cleanliness, replenish ingredients, and follow SOPs

• Support food safety and quality reporting protocols

What You Bring
