Job summary

Louisiana State University seeks a Research and Grants Development Specialist to drive external funding for FOODii and provide technical expertise on food processing and ingredient technologies. The role leads the grant lifecycle from identification to submission and supports tenants with experimental design and reporting.

The successful candidate will develop proposals, coordinate with multiple investigators, and maintain a library of reusable content to streamline future submissions.

Qualifications

• Master's in Food Science, Food Engineering, Sensory Science, or closely related field.
• Minimum of three years of applied research experience.
• Strong technical writing and ability to translate science into proposals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue external funding opportunities for FOODii.
• Draft grant proposals, budgets, biosketches, and support documents.
• Coordinate with Director and co-investigators on multi-party proposals.
• Provide technical support to FOODii tenants, including experimental design and reports.
