Job summary

The LSU Cancer Center in New Orleans seeks a Manager of Sponsored Research and Development to oversee the Grants Office, including supervision of the Grants Management team.

You will identify grant opportunities, coordinate submissions with researchers and clinicians, ensure compliance with reporting to funding agencies, and work with the Contracts and Budget & Finance teams to reconcile awards with budgets and financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional related experience; master’s substitution option on file.
• Experience with NIH and federal grant agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grants office development, management and compliance.
• Identify grant opportunities and coordinate submissions with researchers and clinicians.
• Provide grant management oversight including reporting to funding agencies and leadership.
• Collaborate with Contracts and Budget & Finance to reconcile awards with budgets.
