Job summary

Sodexo at Nicholls State University seeks a Food Supervisor to oversee daily food operations across fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events, casual dining and cafes. You will coordinate routine tasks and guide service employees on-site to maintain quality and efficiency.

The role requires 1+ years of related work experience, possible supervisory experience, and a team-focused, adaptable mindset.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• University students with restrictions on hours may apply for student worker positions at their school.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in daily oversight of key functions and employees.
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows up on time for scheduled shifts with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts depending on business needs.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour - $16.00 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.
