Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Supervisor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to oversee daily food-service operations, coordinate staff activities, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. The role requires on-site supervision across fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, and cafes.

The candidate will mentor employees, enforce safety policies, and collaborate with management to deliver excellent service while supporting a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise multiple service employees and coordinate activities.
• Flexible with varying shifts and interview process details provided by the team.

Location: UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA AT LAFAYETTE - 94110017

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour - $25.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provide oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
