Complete Care Management seeks a Manager in Training for Food Services in a long-term care setting in New Jersey. The MIT will assist with organizing, directing, and supervising dietary department functions to provide nutritious meals for residents.

The role emphasizes learning to lead quality dining programs, staff training, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective operation under the supervision of the Food Services Director. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality required.
• Food service supervisory experience required, long term care preferred.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers and CDM/CFPP credentials preferred.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Services Director with leading quality dining programs for residents.
• Ensure dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Train workers in procedures and equipment operation and safety.
• Supervise and evaluate department staff quality of work.
• Plan staffing schedules to ensure adequate services and maintain records.
• Manage cost-effective program budgeting and resident relations.
• Participate in facility meetings and promote departmental growth.
• Conduct quality assurance rounds and report monthly goals and accomplishments.
