Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Food Services Director for the Cathay Pacific Lounge at JFK Airport. The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, team leadership and client relations to ensure superior food quality and customer service.

You will lead day-to-day operations, manage P&L, hire and develop staff, and collaborate with chefs to design menus and programs aligned with brand standards. A BS in Hospitality/Culinary and five years of high-volume experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred.
• Five years of foodservice operation experience.
• High volume production and catering experience is essential.
• Experience managing a budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account.
• Manages overall day to day operations of the account.
• Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training.
• Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments.
• Works with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food.
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team.

Job Summary

The Food Services Director, reporting directly to the Resident District Manager, holds duties related to day to day operations of the Cathay Pacific Lounge in the JFK Airport. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, client relations and ensures superior food quality and strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications
