Job summary

Okanogan County Child Development Association (OCCDA) seeks a Food Services Coordinator to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure compliance with Head Start, ECEAP, CACFP, and state/federal food safety standards, and manage CACFP grant activities.

You will coordinate food orders, inventory, and distribution across multiple OCCDA kitchens, while guiding staff and collaborating with program and fiscal teams to provide nutritious, developmentally appropriate meals.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Manager Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Knowledge of Washington State food safety requirements, USDA/CACFP regulations.
• 3 years cooking experience for 25 people or more.
• 2 years demonstrated kitchen experience with progressive responsibilities.
• Previous experience in program or kitchen management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, food safety, and regulatory compliance across OCCDA kitchens.
• Manage CACFP grant documentation, reporting, monitoring, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate monthly bulk food ordering, inventory, and distribution to kitchens.
• Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff and support leadership teams.
