Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a Food Services Associate to support meal preparation and patient/nutrition services at our Manchester location. The role involves opening/closing duties, dishwashing, cashiering, and maintaining the salad bar, with a focus on safety and sanitary standards.

The position requires working a variable schedule (including every other weekend) and may involve early morning shifts between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM, with potential for career advancement and tuition reimbursement

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or a GED is strongly preferred.
• Experience: Previous patient experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: Serve Safe certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow HACCP food handling standards and record temperatures.
• Operate kitchen equipment including slicers, mixers, grinders, grill, toaster, cash register, processors, and frappe machine.
• Ensure foods meet standards for quality, freshness, taste, and appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area and equipment.
• Report equipment or supply issues to supervisor.
• Use FIFO when using food supplies.
