Combined Public Communications, LLC is seeking a Food Service Assistant Manager at the Delaware County Detention Center to lead daily kitchen operations, supervise staff and inmate workers, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. You will plan menus, manage inventory and orders, and coordinate with the team to deliver meals on time while maintaining adherence to budget guidelines.

Food Service Assistant Manager

We are seeking motivated and dependable individual to join our team as Food Service Assistant Manager at the Delaware County Detention Center. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role while gaining hands-on experience in food service operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to:

• Performing standard supervisory duties
• Coordinating weekly inventory counts
• Placing product orders through NetMenu
• Verifying and receiving product deliveries within NetMenu
• Executing daily menu recipes
• Compiling weekly financial data based on the floating menu and reported inmate counts
• Manage daily kitchen operations, food prep, and meal service
• Supervise kitchen staff and inmate workers
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health standards
• Follow facility safety and security procedures
• Plan and execute menus based on guidelines and budget

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills
