Job summary

Maschio's Food Service Inc. is seeking reliable Food Service Workers and subs to join our team in Randolph, NJ. This part-time role is suitable for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and contributing to a positive dining experience for students.

You will assist with food prep, operate POS, serve meals, stock and rotate supplies, and ensure food safety in line with USDA/NSLP guidelines. On-call subs travel within the district and must maintain PPE and kitchen cleanliness.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Food Service Workers and subs to join our team in the Randolph, NJ area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Part-time hours, typically 4 to 6 hours daily. Supportive team environment. Opportunity to gain food service experience, and advancement.

Sub positions are on call as needed basis. Must be willing to travel within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping and assembling meals.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle register transactions.
• Serve food to students in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Stock, organize, and rotate food and supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and USDA/NSLP guidelines.
• Use of personal protection equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Perform dishwashing and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and serving areas.
