**Job Description**

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food and meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and assist in completing daily reports. They will uphold high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
2. Prepare daily transaction reports.
3. Understand meal components and inclusivity.
4. Store food accurately and hygienically.
5. Serve food following meal schedules and department policies.
6. Properly use and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
7. Prepare various food items and beverages timely.
8. Add garnishments for customer satisfaction and visual appeal.
9. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment.
10. Follow food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
11. Adhere to the uniform policy.
12. Coordinate with the manager daily to prepare the menu.
13. Supervise food temperature requirements.
14. Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
15. Sanitize counters, steam tables, and other equipment.
16. Follow procedures for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
17. Keep garbage and kitchen floors tidy and sanitary.
18. Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
19. Be aware of physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing. Use of uniforms and PPE may be required.
