Job summary

Oregon Trail School District #46 is seeking a Food Service Worker Substitute to perform routine kitchen duties, food preparation, cleanup and distribute meals for students and staff in the Nutrition and Food Services department.

This on-call position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, follow written and oral instructions, and work with kitchen equipment; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with experience in quantity food preparation desired.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to prepare salads, sandwiches and basic foods.
• Knowledge of health codes, sanitation principles and safety standards.
