Job summary

Consolidated Management is hiring a Food Service Worker for Independence Community College in Independence, KS. This part-time role runs Monday–Friday 9am–5pm and weekend shifts; starting pay is $12/hour, with pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include cooking per recipes, food prep, cash register, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and quality standards. The team will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean, compliant kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of special diets preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.
