Job Title: Food Service Worker (Part-time)

Join to apply for the Food Service Worker (Part-time) role at Justice Resource Institute.

Location: Taunton, MA

Schedule: 20 hrs/week
Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM, Monday - Wednesday 3 PM - 7 PM

Salary: $18.00 per hour

This position involves working within a secure program setting, responsible for meal preparation, service, and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation, distribution, and handling of meals.
• Maintenance and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, co-workers, and supervisors; uphold dignity for all residents.
• Ensure safety and security of all food-related areas and equipment.
• Maintain professionalism and pride in performance.
• Follow all JRI and DYS policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in meal prep, service, storage, and sanitation preferred.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Background checks including CORI, DCF, drug, psychological, and medical screening.
• Availability for evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
