We are hiring immediately for a part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Location: Cudahy School District - 4950 South Lake Drive, Cudahy, WI 53110. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous food service experience preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $16.52 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Transfers pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food properly, following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisors.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash procedures.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
